ROCKY MOUNTAINEER
One of Canada's best known trains, the Rocky Mountaineer operates during the summer months linking Seattle, Whistler and Vancouver with the mountain towns of Jasper, Banff and Calgary. The trips are two day journeys with an overnight stay in either Kamloops or Quesnel ensuring you make the spectacular journey in daylight. There are two classes of travel:

Silver Leaf- Comfortable wide seats in a glass-roofed carriage, guided commentary and meals served at your seat.

Gold Leaf - Plush reclining seats on the upper level of a two-story glass-domed carriage. There is an open-air viewing platform and the lower level of the carriage is where breakfast and lunch is served. A selection of complimentary wines, beers and spirits is available. 

First Passage to the West - Banff and Lake Louise to Vancouver or vice versa (overnight Kamloops)
Travel through Canada’s stunning Rocky Mountains, alongside the powerful Kicking Horse River, and pass by monumental landmarks from the early days of the National Railway. This legendary route along the Canadian Pacific track is famous for uniting the country and connecting British Columbia to Canada over 125 years ago. Travel through the legendary Spiral Tunnels and pass by the spot where the last spike on the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. This is the only passenger rail service on this historic route, and its construction is one of the most important in Canadian history as it united Canada from east to west. You’ll also transverse the Continental Divide and be inspired by spectacular mountains and dramatic canyons. If you’re a history buff, this route is for you.

Journey Through the Clouds - Jasper to Vancouver or vice versa (overnight Kamloops)
)Surrounded by dramatic scenery you will travel through scenic valleys, the Coast Mountains range and the Fraser Canyon with its spectacular white water rapids and dramatic landscape. You will follow the route of the Fraser River, home of British Columbia’s largest salmon run, pass by the Albreda Glacier and magnificent Pyramid Falls, and hopefully see wildlife on the way. The highlight of this route is majestic Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

Rainforest to Gold Rush - Jasper to North Vancouver or vice versa (overnight Quesnel)
Enjoy some of the most breathtaking and varied rail scenery found anywhere in the world on this route. Travel past stunning lakes, through the coastal rainforest and the desert-like conditions of the Fraser Canyon into the vast ranchlands of the Cariboo Plateau. Visit the Gold Pan City of Quesnel, journey through the Rocky Mountain Trench, be awestruck by spectacular Mount Robson, and arrive in the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies.

Jasper, Alberta to Price Rupert, British Columbia
A two-day daylight journey through the Yellowhead Pass stopping overnight in Prince George and continuing on to the coastal city of Price Rupert.

The Canadian
VIA's flagship train travels between Toronto and Vancouver across the Northern Ontario lake lands, the wide open prairies and the Canadian Rockies. The journey takes 4 days and is a comfortable way to travel, meals are included.

The Corridor
A great way to visit Eastern Canada's cities of Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, Toronto, Kingston and Niagara Falls. 

The Ocean
Travel along the south shore to the St. Lawrence waking in the dense forests of Northern New Brunswick. You can get off in Moncton to explore the Bay of Fundy and Prince Edward Island and then continue to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia. 

Montreal to the Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec 
You will travel along the south shore to the St.Lawrence River and down the Matapedia valley and then on to Gaspe.
