Cruise Desolation Sound, on board the intimate "Pacific Bear', a former fishing boat.  With a maximum of just 16 passengers, this naturalist led cruise motors between Lund Harbour and Homfray Lodge, where you will spend your next three nights.

On day two you will cruise and explore remote Toba Inlet with its glacier blue water and cascading waterfalls.  Day three is a day at leisure at Homfray Lodge, where you can enjoy the lodge amenities including an expansive dock, kayaks and paddle boards.

From late August, this cruise includes a Grizzly Bear Viewing Tour, see the Grizzlies of Toba for more detail.
Homfray Lodge is located in globally renowned Desolation Sound, British Columbia.  Built in 2008, the lodge is only accessible by water or air and is surrounded by the peaks of the Coast Mountain range and rainforest.

The lodge features Lodge Suites and private Chalets each with a private bathroom and ocean views.  The main cedar beam lodge features a dining room, lounge with wi-fi, and a wood burning fireplace.  The expansive dock is a natural hub of activity where you can kayak, stand up paddle board or enjoy swimming in the warm ocean waters that can reach up to 22°C.  Daily meals are prepared at the lodge and served family style.

The lodge is a perfect place to relax and 'Discover the Calm' after exploring Desolation Sound.
